Les Agatha Christie chez Harper Collins

* " UK publisher HarperCollins Ltd. has released English language editions of six graphic novels based on the classic murder mysteries of Agatha Christie. The graphic novels, written by Francois Riviere and illustrated by Solidor (Jean Francois Miniac) Marc Piskic, Bruno Lachard, and Laurence Suhner, were originally published in the 1990s by the Belgian publisher Lefranq. Solidor, who provided the art for Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, was a student of Herge and his clear line style fits Christie's period dramas like a velvet glove (though it lacks the verve of the stylish deco covers on the HarperCollins editions). Francois Riviere, who wrote the scenarios for all six graphic novels, is one of France's leading experts on Agatha Christie. HarperCollins' Agatha Christie editions are all 48-page, full color hardcovers. So far no publisher has announced publication of these volumes in U.S. "
